I am super honoured to receive the Peccei Award from IIASA for my work at the Young Scientists Summer Program in Vienna, among more than 50 amazing PhD students worldwide.

Supervised by Oskar Franklin and Christina Kaiser, we found a way to scale up our previous results (Terrer et al. 2016), to move from CO2 experiments to the entire globe, and obtained a simple equation that can be used to predict biomass responses to CO2 globally. We can now make projections of the magnitude and distribution of the land C sink in response to rising atmospheric CO2.
